◎我對於Aphrodite's Child這支來自西臘的3人前衛搖滾樂團的記憶，就只保有這首「Rain and Tears」而已。60年代末期，「Rain and Tears」曾經風靡過一陣子，加上當時波爾‧瑪麗亞大樂團的「Rain and Tears」演奏版亦瘋狂熱銷的推波助瀾之下，「Rain and Tears」的優美旋律響遍大街小巷，可謂盛況一時。

◎我曾經買過一張Aphrodite's Child的原版精選輯LP，當時還不懂什麼叫前衛搖滾樂？只覺得整張唱片就只有「Rain and Tears」一首歌好聽而已，每次播放也只聽這首。後來對搖滾樂的涉獵漸增，竟然發現，鼎鼎大名的器樂大師Vangelis即為Aphrodite's Child的創始團員之一，好訝異的感覺喔！現在如果要收集這首懷念老歌，可能要找Aphrodite's Child的精選輯CD比較容易。

◎時光匆匆，30幾年過去了，如今當「Rain and Tears」的熟悉旋律於耳際響起時，頓時驚訝的發現，自己還能跟著旋律與節拍，順口的跟著唱完整首歌，好佩服自己的記憶力喔，也好 ... ... 嗯！ 好思念我的高中歲月啊！老樂友們，準備好了嗎？Here comes ... ... “Rain and Tears” ... ... for you !
